Atlanta Meatball Festival 2015 {Recap}

Classic Meatball from Davio’s

How many meatball’s can one try? Well I found out on Sunday, August 30th when I attended the Atlanta Meatball Festival  presented by Taste of Atlanta at Belle Isle in Sandy Springs. With over 20 Atlanta restaurants in attendance, I was looking to experience a lot of creativity.

One of my favorites of the day was the American Kobe beef meatball from Davio’s. It was a classic meatball with great flavor and topped with tons of cheese. I really enjoyed it.

See you next year!! Atlanta Food and Wine Festival 2015 Recap

Photo May 30, 7 49 04 PM

This year’s Atlanta Food and Wine Festival was full of food and drink of course as well as classes, private parties, dinners and after parties. The festival started on Friday May 31st with a kick-off toast at the host hotel Loews Atlanta. Immediately after the toast, the classes/demos began. It wasn’t hard to decide what class I wanted to attend. I have become quite the bourbon lover so when I saw the Four Roses Bourbon Class on the schedule, I was glad that I’d ate breakfast, because this was going to be a long day lol.

Atlanta Magazine Best of Atlanta Party 2015

IMG_0912[1]Every year for the last 28 years, Atlanta Magazine hosts its Best of Atlanta Party celebrating the best that Atlanta restaurants have to offer. Tickets to this event included unlimited food tastings from Atlanta’s best Chefs and drink tastings from top brands and a 1-year subscription to Atlanta Magazine. Proceeds from this event went to The Giving Kitchen. First off, I have to say that I love any event that is indoors. I am such a girly girl, so being outside while enjoying multiple libations is right up my alley. I was fortunate enough to receive VIP tickets to the event, so that meant early entry for me at 6pm. As I walked in, I was overwhelmed with how big the exhibit hall was as I’d never been in this part of Cobb Galleria.

Let’s take a peek inside the event…
