Dinner With POM Wonderful At Restaurant Eugene

When I was invited by POM Wonderful for dinner at Restaurant Eugene, for a pomegranate themed dinner, I had no idea what to expect. A dinner with every dish having pomegranate? I knew we were in for a great evening of exploring the versatility of this fruit and I was interested to see how creative Restaurant Eugene would get with the dishes with a fruit that is wonderful on its own.  Continue reading

An Evening With Veuve Clicquot

I recently had the wonderful opportunity to attend an evening with my fav champagne Veuve Clicquot, when its En Route truck made its way to Atlanta and stopped at one of Midtown’s top restaurants STK for evening of champs, music, and gourmet bites created by Executive Chef Mark Alba. In addition to that, there was a super cool photo booth, games and giveaways. You could also send letters and postcards to friends and fam hand written by a super talented calligrapher.

The best part of the evening of course was the champs! There were specials all night that included “Veuve on the Clock” where from 6 p.m. to 6:59 p.m. you could indulge in Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label and Non-Vintage Rosé for $6; from 7 p.m. to 7:59 p.m. for just $7 and so on until the clock hit 9 p.m. If you decided to stay for dinner you were given 15% off your bill thanks to STK.

It was truly an amazing evening and I really enjoyed catching up with friends while sipping champs. Every event I attend at STK never disappoints. The truck is making its way around the country so be on the lookout, it could be hitting your city next! 🙂

Atlanta Meatball Festival 2015 {Recap}

Classic Meatball from Davio’s

How many meatball’s can one try? Well I found out on Sunday, August 30th when I attended the Atlanta Meatball Festival  presented by Taste of Atlanta at Belle Isle in Sandy Springs. With over 20 Atlanta restaurants in attendance, I was looking to experience a lot of creativity.

One of my favorites of the day was the American Kobe beef meatball from Davio’s. It was a classic meatball with great flavor and topped with tons of cheese. I really enjoyed it.

Ciroc Summer Lunch Series w/ Ashley The Brand and Eating With Erica

Ciroc Lemonade (Ciroc, lemonade with a sugar rim)

Ciroc has been my favorite vodka for years, so I was EXTREMELY excited when I received the invitation to have a 4-course lunch at Sweet Auburn Seafood, created by Executive Chef Sammy Davis with tasty Ciroc drinks to accompany each course. The event was hosted by Ashley Cleveland, also known as Ashley The Brand and curated by Erica Key of Eating With Erica. Ciroc is one of my favorite vodka’s for numerous reasons and Diddy isn’t one of them lol…although I do love Diddy lol. I like to have my libations straight up, so it is very important to me to indulge in quality liquor. The sign of good, quality liquor is the ability to drink it without mixing in a chaser. Ciroc is smooth and very easy to drink straight up, on the rocks or chilled, because it is made with French grapes, instead of grain and is distilled five times. The flavored versions which include red berry, pineapple, peach and my personal favorite coconut, are also really great, because the infused flavors do not taste artificial. Quality is key and I love that Ciroc takes pride in the ingredients used to produce a truly awesome product.  Continue reading
